HR Professional Role at Openfolde
Openfolde is seeking a proactive, people-focused, and detail-oriented HR professional who is passionate about creating a great employee experience while delivering effective HR support across our business. If you enjoy building strong, trusted relationships, shaping effective processes, and supporting managers to help people thrive, we'd love to hear from you! This is an office-based role.
What You'll Do
With at least 3 years of recent experience in a busy environment, as a People and Culture Advisor, you will play a key role in shaping a positive, inclusive workplace culture while delivering practical, high-quality HR support across our teams in Northern Ireland, Great Britain, and the Republic of Ireland. You’ll work closely with the Head of People and Culture, as well as colleagues across Openfolde and its subsidiary businesses, to provide balanced, people-centered support, handling challenging and sensitive situations with discretion, tact, and professionalism.
What You'll Bring
- CIPD level 3 qualification
- Strong knowledge of UK and/or Northern Ireland employment law and HR best practice with at least 3 years of experience in the last 5 years
- Demonstrated experience handling end-to-end employee relations cases (e.g., disciplinary, grievance, performance management)
- Understanding of core HR processes including recruitment, onboarding, probation, and policy implementation
- Experience working in a private sector environment with fast-paced, commercially driven decision-making
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to influence and build trust at all levels
- Highly organized self-starter with meticulous attention to detail and ability to prioritize appropriately
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to maintain discretion and strict confidentiality

Desirable
- Knowledge of HR practices in multi-site and/or multi-jurisdictional organizations – Northern Ireland, UK, ROI
- Providing alignment between people policies and payroll
- Experience contributing to policy development
- Experience in change management
- Understanding of learning and development processes
- Experience in data-driven HR, including using analytics to support decision-making
- Experience in providing basic training/coaching to managers and HR-related workshops or information sessions
- Experience using HR IT platforms, we use PeopleHR

Note: this is a part-time vacancy, expected to be 25-30 hours per week (to be agreed with the successful candidate).
