Waracle People and Culture Associate

Waracle are looking for a People and Culture Associate for an exciting new role joining our world-class digital technology consultancy and home to a diverse, smart, curious, and ambitious community of specialists in technology-driven transformation.

We work with ambitious clients to help them solve their biggest business and customer challenges. We help our clients to innovate and create intelligent digital products and services. We thrive on complex challenges and deliver business-critical IT transformation projects, moving seamlessly from strategy, design, and delivery to operations.

This is a Hybrid role, offering the flexibility to balance your professional and personal life, with 2 days a week spent connecting with colleagues in our Dundee office.

The Role

Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for people and a curiosity for technology?

We are looking for a collaborative People & Culture Associate to act as a foundational support for our team. In this role, you won’t just be managing administrative tasks; you’ll be an essential part of our 'automation-first' mindset. We value fresh perspectives and encourage you to experiment with AI tools to streamline our operations, ensuring our people processes are as innovative as the digital products we build for our clients.

Key aspects of the role include:

  • Empathetic Lifecycle Support: Supporting our team members through their entire journey, from a warm welcome during onboarding to a smooth offboarding process.
  • Data Integrity & Insights: Maintaining HR systems with high accuracy while seeking creative ways to use automation to simplify reporting.
  • Proactive Problem Solving: Responding to employee queries regarding policies and leave with care, ensuring everyone feels supported and informed.
  • Culture & Connection: Coordinating engagement and wellbeing activities, such as surveys and events, to foster a vibrant and inclusive community.
  • Innovation & Efficiency: Identifying manual tasks that can be improved through technology and utilizing AI tools to enhance team productivity.

What you'll bring to the role:

  • Foundational HR Knowledge: A strong understanding of HR administrative processes and a high attention to detail.
  • Growth Mindset: A continuous improvement approach and a genuine interest in how AI and automation can make HR more human-centric.
  • Regulatory Awareness: A basic understanding of employment law and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and GDPR requirements.
  • Collaborative Spirit: Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a flexible attitude and a desire to contribute positively to team spirit.
  • Tech Savviness: Proficiency in IT and experience (or a strong interest) in HRIS data entry and reporting.
