About Us

Nobody’s Child is for the free thinkers, the dreamers, and the go-getters. Born in 2015, we’ve spent the last decade creating clothes that feel as good as they look for people that embrace individuality, live with purpose, and want to leave the world a little better than they found it. It’s been 10 years of creativity, growth, and bold ideas, and the values that guide us haven’t changed.

About You

We’re looking for an exceptional People & Culture Lead to join our brand and play a pivotal role in building the organisation, culture, and capabilities that will enable our next stage of growth.

This is a true generalist leadership role with broad ownership across the employee lifecycle - from recruitment and onboarding through to talent development, leadership coaching, learning & development, ER, performance, engagement, organisational capability, and culture.

Responsibilities

  • Reporting into the CEO, you’ll be a trusted partner to the leadership team and an influential leader across the wider business, helping us attract exceptional talent, develop high-performing teams, and build the structures, capabilities, and culture required to scale successfully.
  • You’ll lead a People & Culture team of three and support a workforce of 200+ across both our growing retail portfolio and Head Office.
  • This is a highly hands-on role for someone who enjoys operating at both strategic and practical levels - shaping the people agenda while being close enough to the business to make things happen.

What You’ll Own

People Strategy & Culture

  • Develop and deliver a People & Culture strategy aligned to the brand’s growth ambitions and commercial objectives.
  • Act as a trusted adviser and thought partner to the CEO and Senior leadership team.
  • Shape and evolve a high-performance culture that reflects our brand values and ambitions.
  • Build scalable people practices, policies, and frameworks that support a fast-growing organisation.
  • Use people data, insight, and engagement feedback to identify opportunities and drive better business outcomes.
  • Lead organisational change and support the business through periods of growth and transformation.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
