Our Client

Mackie Myers are partnering with a growing professional services organisation that has experienced significant expansion over the last few years. With a strong people-first culture and ambitious growth plans, the business is continuing to invest in its People function to ensure employees are supported, developed, and engaged throughout their careers.

They are now seeking a People & Operations Associate to join the team on a 16-month fixed-term contract, providing an excellent opportunity for someone looking to establish a career within HR and People Operations.

The Role

Reporting to the People & Operations Lead, this position will provide support across recruitment, onboarding, employee lifecycle administration, reporting, and employee engagement activities. The role offers broad exposure across HR and business operations and includes the opportunity to complete a fully funded CIPD Level 3 Foundation Certificate in People Practice, providing an excellent platform for someone looking to build a long-term career within People Operations and Human Resources.

Main Duties

  • The successful candidate will support the delivery of people-focused initiatives and day-to-day operational activities across the business.
  • Coordinate recruitment, interview scheduling, and candidate communications.
  • Support onboarding, employee lifecycle administration, and HR documentation.
  • Maintain accurate HR records, systems, and reporting data.
  • Assist with employee wellbeing, engagement, and company events.
  • Provide general business administration and operational support across the organisation.

The Successful Candidate

  • Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
  • Previous administration experience within a professional office environment.
  • Confident communicator with a proactive and people-focused approach.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
  • Graduate calibre or early-career professional seeking a long-term career in HR, Recruitment, or People Operations.
  • Experience within HR, recruitment, or administrative environments would be beneficial but is not essential.
