The People and Organisation Transformation Partner is an HR leadership role dedicated to Optimus, our TwiningsOvo Business Transformation Program and our BizTech (Business Technology Team). In support of the HR agenda shaped by the Head of HR for International Functions, the People and Organisation Transformation Partner will work in partnership with the leadership teams across Optimus and BizTech. This is a critical role in the successful creation and implementation of our key strategic people imperatives, and importantly to drive the employee experience throughout Program Optimus and BizTech.
The People and Organisation Transformation Partner will act in the capacity of a business professional with a leaning towards HR, with a future focused lens on capability acquisition and development. Reporting into the Head of HR – International Functions, they will work as a key member of the Optimus and BizTech Leadership Teams providing HR leadership, to enable a people centric program leadership team and in support of each leader to effectively lead the employee experience within their teams.
Please note that this role is fixed term for 24 Months.
Key Responsibilities
- Partnering with senior stakeholders providing a HR perspective to define and achieve program and organisational goals
- Leading the Organisational Design activity across BizTech and Optimus, ensuring these functions are designed with a future focus, building in the development of new and existing capabilities, that are resourced for the future
- Developing and implementing a range of people improvement projects and initiatives ensuring alignment with the Head of HR and the people plans
- Delivering and embedding key HR change projects, identified through International HR agenda, notably Thrive, wellbeing and our diversity and inclusion agenda ‘Belong’
- Working collaboratively with HR Business Partner – International Functions to ensure action plans are implemented through employee engagement
- Building internal resilience into the people agenda, including holistic view of talent, succession, and capability development, leading to a future talent pipeline
- Oversee the full recruitment process, that includes building internal capability, hiring of contractors, managing agency relationships, overseeing the IR35 governance process, pulling consultancy paperwork together and ensuring each contractor is set up for us to pay them plus agency. Managing process across all stakeholder groups, including relationships with agencies, procurement, onboarding new suppliers where appropriate
- Challenging and developing leadership and line managers to continually improve the employee experience throughout Program Optimus and within BizTech
- Working with stakeholders, liaising with HR Services, identifying requirements and approaches to replace leavers
- Leading the reward approach including the pay review process across Optimus and BizTech, shaping new roles and benchmarking and liaising with Reward
- Upskilling Line Manager to be more people focused, creating psychological safety within their teams and creating the environment for team members be their authentic selves and to thrive
- Strengths Deployment Inventory - ensuring new joiners have SDI profiles and this is actively used to enhance the relationships across the teams and build into team development programs

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
The role would suit an experienced HR Business Partner with experience in business transformation across multiple stakeholder groups. The successful candidate will be experienced across all aspects of a generalist’s HR remit, with strengths in coaching and leadership skills as well as a strong technical knowledge.

- CIPD Qualified
- Educated to degree level or equivalent
- Significant operational and generalist HR experience, including but not limited to; ER, Case management, line manager capability, coaching and development
- Experienced in delivering HR Change Projects across multiple business units
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; with the ability to communicate at all levels and simplify the complex
- Strong people management skills
- Excellent relationship building skills and proven stakeholder management skills
- Commercially astute and financially literate with a strong understanding of business acumen
- Excellent scoping and feasibility skills, working with the business process team to examine possibilities, alternatives and prompting thought
- Ability to work in a fast-changing environment & comfortable with dealing with ambiguity and competing priorities
- A strong growth mindset, skilled in radical thinking and challenging the status quo.
- Strong presentation, facilitation and communication skills
- Passionate about the company’s vision for its future and about being part of the journey to get there
