Our client is a highly respected international organisation with a presence in more than 120 countries, supporting businesses and professionals across the globe. As their team continues to grow, they are seeking an organised, proactive and detail-focused People and Payroll Executive to join their People Team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys balancing payroll accuracy with employee experience, and who wants to play a key role in supporting a modern, collaborative and people-focused organisation.


The opportunity

Reporting to the Head of People, you will be at the heart of the employee lifecycle, supporting everything from onboarding and HR administration through to payroll processing, benefits administration and compliance.

You'll work closely with colleagues across the business, helping to ensure employees receive a first-class experience while maintaining the highest standards of payroll accuracy and data integrity.


What you'll be doing

People administration

  • Maintaining employee records, contracts and personnel files
  • Supporting onboarding, inductions and recruitment administration
  • Coordinating interviews and liaising with recruitment partners
  • Acting as a first point of contact for employee queries
  • Supporting the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures
  • Producing salary review and employee documentation
  • Ensuring GDPR compliance and data accuracy across HR systems

Payroll and benefits

  • Preparing and submitting monthly payroll information
  • Managing pension administration and monthly uploads
  • Handling payroll-related employee queries
  • Administering employee benefits for starters and leavers
  • Supporting international payroll processes
  • Assisting with P11D preparation and payroll reporting
  • Liaising with external payroll and benefits providers

Reporting and compliance

  • Producing HR and payroll reports for management
  • Supporting audits and compliance activities
  • Maintaining accurate HR and payroll records
  • Assisting with wider People Team projects and initiatives

What we're looking for

You'll be someone who takes pride in getting the details right and enjoys working in a role where accuracy, confidentiality and excellent service are essential.

Essential

  • Previous experience in a payroll and/or HR administration role
  • Strong understanding of UK payroll legislation and HMRC requirements
  • Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to manage confidential information professionally
  • Knowledge of UK employment practices and HR administration
  • Good understanding of GDPR and data protection principles

Desirable

  • CIPD Level 3 qualification (or working towards)
  • Experience using HR systems such as HiBob
  • Exposure to international payroll administration
