People & Payroll Officer

We’re representing a growing international business that is looking for an experienced People & Payroll Officer to join their team.

This is a varied role combining payroll ownership with wider people administration, making it a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being involved across both the numbers and the people side of the business. You’ll play an important role in keeping payroll running smoothly while supporting HR processes, benefits and learning and development.

About You

  • Previous experience in payroll administration
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
  • Experience supporting HR and employee administration
  • Experience supporting learning and development, including coordinating training and maintaining training records
  • Comfortable working with HR, payroll and/or learning management systems
  • Well organised and able to manage confidential information appropriately
  • Good general understanding of HR processes would be beneficial

About Your New Role

Always

  • Managing the end-to-end monthly payroll process
  • Ensuring payroll information is accurate, complete and processed on time
  • Maintaining employee records and supporting day-to-day HR administration
  • Handling payroll and people-related queries
  • Maintaining confidentiality across all employee and payroll information

  • Administering pensions and employee benefits
  • Preparing payroll reports and carrying out relevant checks
  • Supporting onboarding and employee lifecycle administration
  • Maintaining accurate training and development records
  • Coordinating training activity across the business
  • Updating and administering the company’s LMS

  • Supporting wider HR projects and initiatives
  • Assisting with the review and improvement of people processes
  • Providing additional administrative support to the wider People team
  • Getting involved in ad hoc projects as the business continues to grow
