Job Description
Job at a glance
As the People Applications Workday Technical Manager, you will be responsible for the technical configuration, integrations and ongoing optimisation of the Workday platform, ensuring it remains stable, secure and supports the evolving needs of the business.
Working closely with the Head of People Applications, Functional Manager and wider People Applications team, you will deliver technical solutions, support Workday releases and contribute to the continuous improvement of the platform.
Whilst primarily responsible for Workday's technical landscape, you will also support configuration, BAU activities and cross-functional delivery where business priorities require.
Your responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain Workday integrations using Workday Studio, Core Connectors, EIBs, Cloud Connect and APIs.
- Monitor, troubleshoot and optimise integrations, ensuring platform stability and performance.
- Support the planning, testing and deployment of Workday's biannual releases.
- Collaborate with Functional Managers and stakeholders to design and deliver technical solutions.
- Configure and maintain Workday functionality across functional areas where required.
- Support the wider People Applications team during periods of increased operational demand, contributing to BAU activities, testing and system deployments.

Qualifications
- Significant experience supporting and developing Workday technical solutions.
- Experience building and maintaining Workday integrations using Workday Studio, Core Connectors, EIBs, Cloud Connect and APIs.
- Experience supporting Workday releases, testing and technical deployments.
- Experience troubleshooting complex production issues.
- Experience working collaboratively with functional teams and business stakeholders.
