We employ over 1900 people to manage and develop our large portfolio of nearly 56,000 homes serving over 75,000 customers across London, the East Midlands, Southern and the East of England.

This role

Fixed term Contract till July 2027

We are looking for a People Assistant to join our People Team, providing a proactive, customer-focused and efficient HR service across MTVH. Working alongside managers, colleagues and specialist HR and Payroll teams, you will be a first point of contact for routine HR queries and help ensure colleagues and managers receive clear, timely and professional support throughout the employee lifecycle.

In this role, you will support a broad range of HR activities including starters, contractual changes, leavers, resourcing support, employee engagement and wellbeing, low-level employee relations matters, organisational change and HR project work. You will also help maintain accurate HR records, produce contracts and documentation, support formal HR meetings through note taking, and contribute to HR data and reporting activity.

This is a varied and rewarding opportunity for someone who enjoys working at pace, building strong relationships and delivering a high-quality internal customer experience. You will play an important part in helping managers manage their people effectively while supporting MTVH’s values of Care, Dare and Collaborate.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
