People Assistant (Part-Time)
Snaparazzi Photobooths
Part-time
2–3 days per week (16–24 hours)
[Salary: £28,000 - £34,000 FTE - depending on experience]
About Snaparazzi
Snaparazzi is a fast-growing photobooth business, now around 30 employees strong. As the team has grown, so has the amount of day-to-day people admin, and as such we're on the look out for someone organised, professional, and reliable to take ownership of this so our leadership team can focus on running and growing the business.
The Role
We're after a People Assistant to own the day-to-day HR admin: recruitment, onboarding, contracts, payroll support, absence tracking, and everything in between. You'll be the go-to person for anything people-related - trusted, organised, and genuinely good with people.
What you'll be doing
- Getting new starters set up and settled in
- Keeping contracts, records and compliance watertight
- Supporting payroll so everyone gets paid right, on time
- Tracking holidays and absence
- Helping managers with performance and probation reviews
- Being the friendly first point of contact for HR questions

What we're looking for
- Strong people operations and administration skills, including managing employee records, scheduling, and document preparation.
- Experience in recruitment coordination, such as posting roles, screening applications, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates.
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust, handle sensitive information discreetly, and support a diverse team.
- Comfort with digital and office tools, including HR or scheduling software, emails and spreadsheets.
- Good organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and work independently in a hybrid environment.
- Interest in people development and culture-building initiatives, including onboarding, training support, and team engagement activities.
- Prior experience in HR, people operations, or office administration is beneficial; experience in a creative, hospitality, or manufacturing environment is a plus.
- Ability to work part-time in Newcastle Upon Tyne, with flexibility for occasional
- CIPD Level 3 nice-to-have (we'll support you to get there if not)
