Job Title: People Business Partner 7 month Fixed term Contract (FTC)

We are looking for a People Business Partner to support our UK & Ireland business. As part of our Global People Team you will work with the other UK & Ireland PBPs and the people team to partner with leaders in the business, in particular for the end of year cyclical process. In this role, you will champion our culture, values and be an advocate for our people, our leaders, and our business. You will work to align business objectives to people programs across functions and in partnership with business leaders.

Responsibilities:

As a People Business Partner, you will provide forward-thinking recommendations that will influence, and drive people-focused matters.

  • You will drive the planning, delivery and engagement of the end of year cyclical people activities, including the delivery of global and local people priorities.
  • Collaborate with local leadership and COEs on the development and rollout of people programs. You will influence and drive a systems-thinking approach.
  • You will coach and mentor leaders and leadership teams to be more effective in people and team management. Recommend, implement, track, and measure local employee engagement initiatives.
  • Consult on organisational effectiveness & development needs. You will use data to help formulate and drive decisions.
  • General day-to-day activities will include employee relations, meeting with employees and leaders to address human resources matters or to provide coaching.
  • You will attend capability leadership meetings when appropriate and will recognise the needs and rhythm of the business. Rollout COE programs and other company or local initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • HR experience in an HR Business Partner position.
  • Experience leading HR cyclical processes, such as promotion, compensation, rewards and performance.
  • Ability to work at pace and bring excellent planning and structure to a complex environment.
  • The ability and agility required to work with local and global teams in an entrepreneurial matrix structure.
  • Organisational development, coaching, compensation, and employee relations skills.
  • Ability to deal effectively with ambiguity, recognise trends, and identify systemic approaches to solving problems in a fast-moving, constantly changing environment.
  • Demonstrated skills in business acumen, data analysis, project management, communication, presentation, negotiation, conflict management, and problem-solving.
  • Excellent communicator with strong skills with Excel and PowerPoint.
