People Business Partner – 12 Month Contract
Location: West Burton – Hybrid, 3 days per week
Rate: £350–£450 per day
Contract: 12 months
IR35: Inside IR35
Clearance: BPSS
Start: ASAP / subject to availability
We are currently looking for an experienced People Business Partner to join a high-profile organisation on an initial 12-month contract.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced and complex environment and can provide high-quality people advice while supporting wider HR projects and organisational initiatives.
The Role
As a People Business Partner, you will work closely with managers and stakeholders across the organisation, providing trusted HR advice and supporting a range of employee and organisational matters.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing HR advice and guidance across a broad range of people matters.
- Managing and supporting employee relations cases in line with UK employment legislation and company policy.
- Building strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Supporting and delivering HR projects and organisational development initiatives.
- Producing HR metrics, management information and people analytics to support business decisions.
- Supporting organisational change, transformation and culture initiatives.
- Contributing to workforce planning, talent management and succession planning activities.
- Managing multiple priorities and projects within a complex environment.

About You
We're looking for someone with:
- CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent experience.
- Previous experience as an HR Advisor, Junior HRBP or HR Business Partner.
- Strong employee relations experience and knowledge of UK employment law.
- Experience delivering HR projects and people-focused programmes.
- Strong analytical skills and experience working with HR data, MI and reporting.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- Strong organisational and project-management abilities.
- Good knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Teams.

Experience in any of the following would be advantageous:

- Engineering, scientific, technical, energy, infrastructure, public sector or other highly regulated environments.
