Role Title: People Business Partner

Location: Leeds (Hybrid – 2 days per week on site)

Contract: Permanent

Working Pattern: Full Time

We're looking for a commercially astute and strategically focused People Business Partner to join our People & Culture Team.

You will have end-to-end responsibility for the people strategy within your designated business areas, acting as the senior People leader and trusted advisor to Executive Directors and their leadership teams. You'll be embedded within the business, helping to shape strategic decisions, influence organisational performance, and ensure people considerations are at the heart of every major business decision.

As the primary People partner for your business areas, you will work hand-in-hand with executive leaders to deliver business outcomes through organisation design, workforce planning, talent strategy, leadership capability, culture, engagement and transformation.

As our new People Business partner, you will:

  • Build strong, credible relationships with Executive Directors and senior leaders, becoming their trusted advisor on all people and organisational matters.
  • Influence strategic business decisions through expert advice on organisational design, capability, workforce planning and culture.
  • Drive talent, succession and leadership strategies to ensure a strong pipeline of future leaders.
  • Lead complex organisational change programmes, supporting leaders to navigate transformation and embed sustainable change.
  • Challenge and support leaders to optimise organisational effectiveness, improve performance and deliver financial sustainability.

We are looking for:

  • A track record of partnering with Executive Directors and senior leadership teams.
  • Experience owning the people strategy for significant business areas.
  • Strong organisational design and change management expertise.
  • Commercial acumen and the ability to balance people priorities with business performance and financial objectives.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to coach, influence and advise at Executive level.
