People & Business Support Coordinator | Eurobase

Location: Hybrid 2/3 times per week | London & Chelmsford (day-to-day leans Chelmsford)
Contract: Full-time, permanent
Reports to: Head of HR

About Eurobase

Eurobase is a group business with a Board and Senior Leadership Team split across London and Chelmsford. We have three parts to the business, insurance technology, banking software, and recruitment, with just over 100 people across the group. We've been trading since 1988 and are still founder-led, which means decisions get made locally and there's real care in the work.

About the role

This is a newly expanded position bringing together three areas into one full-time seat: HR administration, PA support to two Board members, and light office and facilities coordination. The HR side is the biggest part of the job, so it suits someone who has already done solid HR administration and wants to add board-level exposure and variety without moving into a purely HR generalist or PA-only role.

You'd be reporting into the Head of HR and working closely with colleagues at every level, from employees through to the Board. Our HR team is four people, so you'll have support around you but also plenty of scope to take ownership.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

What you'll be doing

HR administration around 25 hours a week

  • Contracts, offer letters and employee correspondence
  • Onboarding and offboarding
  • Maintaining accurate records in HiBob
  • Recruitment coordination
  • Benefits and absence tracking
  • Supporting the wider HR team with reporting and compliance

PA support around 10 hours a week

  • Diary management for two Board members
  • Meeting scheduling, room bookings and note taking
  • Board-level admin and preparation

Facilities around 2.5 hours a week

  • Point of contact for cleaners, window cleaning and maintenance visits
  • Office supplies and keeping shared spaces presentable

What we're looking for

  • HiBob experience specifically, or solid experience with a comparable HR information system
  • HR administration experience is essential and central to the role — you'll be working at coordinator level, not as a generalist or business partner
  • PA or executive administration experience supporting senior stakeholders, ideally with some board or leadership exposure
  • Comfort working with direct and busy people — our Board members are more demanding day to day than a typical line manager
  • Founder-led or smaller business background — we like people who roll their sleeves up rather than waiting for someone else to
  • Confidence across Microsoft 365, particularly Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams

If you have heavy fixed personal commitments that require you to be in a specific place at a specific time every day, the PA element may be tricky since Board diary needs can be unpredictable. Not a dealbreaker, just something worth thinking about.

What we offer

  • Up to £38k, stretch to £40k
  • Hybrid working — 2 to 3 days a week in the office, mostly Chelmsford
  • Occasional London days for induction and Board meetings, with travel reimbursed
  • Full time, permanent contract
  • A genuinely varied role with board-level exposure
  • On-site parking at Chelmsford, and we're right next to the train station
