The role

This is a critical role within the People Planning & Transformation team, supporting the delivery of strategic transformation activity across BGIUK.

You’ll lead and manage people workstreams associated with workforce transformation, mergers and acquisitions, divestments, outsourcing, insourcing, restructures and other strategic change initiatives.

You’ll provide end-to-end programme and project leadership to ensure transformation activity is delivered effectively, safely and in line with business objectives and employment legislation.

Alongside programme delivery responsibilities, you’ll act as an internal consultant, using workforce, operational and financial data to generate insight, support organisation design decisions, assess commercial and employment risks, and inform business case development.

Working closely with People Directors, Senior People Business Partners, Finance, Employment Law and business leaders, you’ll translate strategic objectives into practical implementation plans, ensuring both the people and commercial aspects of change are fully considered.

The role requires strong commercial awareness, excellent analytical capabilities and a solid understanding of organisational change, employment law and workforce transformation.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
