About the role...

We’re looking for a new People Coordinator to come and join the team on a fixed term contract until June 2027! Based out of our Castle Donington office, you’ll sit in our HR Operations team and will be exposed to all things people focused; from the day-to-day administration to exciting forward-thinking projects…. if you’re a people person with an eye for detail, a flare for organising and find coordinating a doddle…then this could be the role for you!

About the team…

Our People Team is at the core of what CP is and helps to make us a people first business. They support us in our ongoing goals to retain an incredible culture whilst we grow as a business, providing insights to our people engagement and supporting our leadership teams in reaching their goals through their people plans.

About the day to day…

As a People Coordinator, your role will be providing support across the People Team, being the main point of contact for all things admin related, playing a critical role within the CP family. We cannot stress how important attention to detail is within this role. You need to be accurate, reliable and efficient.

The role includes a whole host of activities, but here's a quick overview:

  • Managing our People Team Inbox, assisting with general queries, such as holiday entitlements and booking leave, knowing when to escalate queries to the People BPs.
  • Producing accurate new starter documentation using our internal systems; offer letters, contracts, onboarding communications and internal communications of new starter announcements to the wider business.
  • Drive and deliver the new starters and leavers processes (including onboarding). Liaising with external suppliers to ensure new starters get their CP merch on time.
  • Help with the creation of letters e.g. pay review and bonus
  • Creating and administering probation pass letters
  • Managing our family friendly procedures.
  • Reporting
  • Administration of employee benefits
  • Getting stuck in with wider team projects as well as taking the lead on some smaller administrative projects.
  • Driving license checks

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
