Summary of Role:

This role is responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support to the P&C team across all UK locations. Based in Perivale and Ruislip, the role will support the whole People & Culture team.

The Primary Duties:

  • Administering Contracts and Offer letters for both new starters and individuals’ changing jobs internally
  • Supporting line managers in employee relation cases with note-taking and other administrative support
  • Administering the return-to-work paperwork for colleagues who have been off sick to ensure that they are paid correctly and on time
  • Filing and maintaining both electronic and paper-based employee records
  • Production of Management Information for HR Reporting on a regular basis to enable us to monitor our KPIs
  • Conducting pre-employment reference checks on time and in full for New Starters
  • Monitoring the Annual Leave taken across the business and ensuring that the Leave Portal information is correct
  • Supporting colleagues throughout their Employee lifecycle
  • Collecting additional Right-to-Work documents as necessary to ensure compliance with UK legislation and maintaining the tracker for work permit visas
  • Liaising with Payroll to ensure that employee details are correct
  • Managing the HR Inbox to ensure that all queries and issues are resolved or are escalated to the right person

Essential Experience, Skills and Abilities:

  • At least 1 year’s administrative experience in a fast-paced HR team
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft office (Word and Excel)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proactive and the ability to identify and resolve problems
  • Confident liaising with senior managers
  • Able to work on their own initiative and in a team
  • Able to manage their time well
  • Able to be calm, patient and assertive
  • Able to adapt to change
  • High accuracy levels and attention to detail
  • Willingness to learn and grow within the HR team
  • Able to act as an ambassador for the HR function and the B&S vision, values and best practice
  • A strong team player who is able to adapt quickly to changing priorities
