We're looking for an experienced and approachable People & Culture Advisor to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract to provide maternity cover.

Working closely with the Head of People, you'll play an important role in delivering a proactive and effective People & Culture service across the organisation. This is a varied, hands-on role covering the full employee lifecycle, including employee relations, recruitment and onboarding, HR administration, payroll support, employee engagement, compliance, and Absence Management.

You'll be a trusted point of contact for employees and managers, providing practical and consistent advice while helping us maintain an engaging, compliant, and well-organised working environment.

  • Support and advise managers on employee relations matters, including absence, performance, conduct, and other people-related issues.
  • Support recruitment activity from vacancy approval and advertising through to interviews, offers, and onboarding.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate employee documentation, including contracts, offer letters, and other employment correspondence.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records within HR systems, ensuring compliance with GDPR and company policies.
  • Support payroll processes by collating, checking, and providing accurate employee and payroll information.
  • Support employee onboarding, probation, changes to employment, and offboarding activities.
  • Contribute to employee engagement initiatives.
  • Help ensure our people practices remain compliant with employment legislation, internal policies, and procedures.
  • Produce and maintain HR reports and people metrics, including headcount, turnover, and other department KPIs.
  • Support the review and development of People & Culture policies, processes, and documentation.
  • Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and employee experience.
  • Support and contribute to wider People & Culture projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
