We're looking for a People & Culture Apprentice to join our friendly and supportive People & Culture team at Hugh Baird College. This is an exciting opportunity to gain valuable workplace experience while studying towards a nationally recognised Level 3 HR Support Apprenticeship and CIPD qualification.

As an apprentice, you'll learn about all aspects of People & Culture while playing an important role in supporting colleagues across the College.


What You'll Learn

This apprenticeship will give you practical experience across a wide range of People & Culture activities, including:

  • Employee administration
  • Payroll support
  • HR systems and records management
  • Compliance and safeguarding
  • Recruitment and onboarding
  • Employee relations
  • People-focused projects and service improvements

Professional Qualification

As part of the role, you'll complete the Level 3 HR Support Apprenticeship, leading to the CIPD Foundation Certificate in People Practice. This nationally recognised qualification will help you develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours needed for a successful career in the people profession.

Your apprenticeship training and study time will take place within your contracted working hours, and you'll receive support throughout your learning journey.
