We’re looking for a commercially minded and hands-on People & Culture Business Partner to work closely with leaders and managers across the Group. This varied role will translate business priorities into practical people solutions while combining strategic business partnering with operational HR delivery.
The successful candidate will be an experienced HR/P&C generalist with strong employment law knowledge and the confidence to coach managers, manage employee relations matters and influence people decisions. You’ll be organised, approachable and solutions-focused, with a passion for building management capability, improving the employee experience and supporting business performance.
This is a Group-wide role supporting our Head Office in Manchester and regional offices in Madrid and Dallas. You’ll partner with external HR advisers and in-country employment specialists to ensure local compliance while supporting a consistent and scalable people approach across the Group.

Key Responsibilities
People & Culture Business Partnering
- Partner with leaders and managers to understand business priorities and develop practical people solutions that support performance and growth.
- Coach and advise managers on employee relations, performance management, engagement and effective people leadership.
- Use people data and business insight to identify workforce trends, risks and opportunities.
- Build trusted relationships across the Group, providing commercially focused challenge, support and guidance.
Workforce Planning & Organisational Development
- Identify capability gaps and contribute to succession planning, internal development and talent discussions.
- Support organisational design, restructuring and change initiatives as required.
- Help implement Group people priorities across the UK, Spain and US.
Employee Relations
- Act as a trusted adviser to managers, providing practical and commercially focused guidance on employee relations matters and people management challenges.
- Manage disciplinary, grievance, capability, performance and absence cases, conducting investigations where required.
- Prepare HR documentation and correspondence, including meeting records, outcome letters and manager guidance.
- Ensure matters are handled fairly, consistently and in line with employment legislation and company policy.

Employment Law, Policy & Compliance
- Keep up to date with UK employment legislation, identify relevant changes and support the implementation of compliant HR practices.
- Support the review, update and communication of HR policies, procedures and employee handbooks.
- Work with external HR advisers and in-country employment specialists to support compliance in Spain and the US.
- Ensure statutory employment checks and HR documentation are maintained in line with legal and regulatory requirements.
Pre-Boarding & Onboarding
- Own the end-to-end pre-boarding process, including offers, contracts, references and right-to-work and compliance checks.
- Coordinate onboarding activity to provide new colleagues and managers with a seamless and engaging introduction to the business.
- Continuously improve onboarding to support early engagement, productivity and retention.
Probation, Performance & Absence Management
- Manage the probation process from start to finish, including scheduling reviews, monitoring progress and coordinating outcomes.
- Coach managers to make fair, consistent and evidence-based probation and performance decisions.
- Support absence cases, wellbeing and return-to-work meetings, reasonable adjustments and occupational health referrals where appropriate.
People Analytics & Reporting
- Produce and analyse people metrics, including absence trends, probation outcomes, new starter performance and wider workforce measures.
- Use data and insight to identify priorities and inform people initiatives and business decisions.
- Provide regular reporting and recommendations to support workforce planning, retention, engagement and compliance.
Wellbeing, Engagement & Inclusion

- Coordinate wellbeing, inclusion and employee engagement initiatives across the Group.
- Manage engagement surveys and platforms, analyse feedback and support leaders with action planning.
- Support recognition, employee communications and cultural activities that enhance the employee experience.
HR Systems, Data & Benefits Administration
- Maintain accurate employee records within HR systems, ensuring data integrity, confidentiality, GDPR compliance and effective document management.
- Administer employee benefits, including enrolments, leavers and employee queries.
- Support continuous improvement of HR systems, reporting capability and people processes.
Learning & Development Coordination
- Coordinate the administration and scheduling of the Group Learning & Development programme.
- Liaise with external providers, manage attendance and ensure learning activities are delivered as planned.
- Maintain accurate training records and support reporting on completion, compliance and participation.
- Provide administrative support for L&D initiatives, coordinating stakeholders, suppliers, feedback and learning materials.

What We’re Looking For
- Broad HR generalist experience in a People Business Partner, HR Business Partner, Senior HR Advisor or comparable role.
- Strong working knowledge of UK employment law and confidence managing employee relations matters.
- Experience coaching managers and translating business needs into practical people solutions.
- Commercial awareness, sound judgement and the confidence to constructively challenge stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, organisational and communication skills, with excellent attention to detail.
- A hands-on approach and the ability to balance strategic priorities with operational delivery.
- CIPD qualification level 5 is an advantage
