Job Overview

We are looking for a People & Culture Business Partner, to work with the Senior Leadership Team to deliver people strategies that support organisational goals, enhance employee experience, and drive business performance. Acting as a trusted advisor, the role provides expert guidance across organisational design, workforce planning, talent management, leadership development, engagement, and culture.

Main Duties

  • Partner with leaders to understand business priorities and translate them into people plans.
  • Provide coaching and advice to managers on people-related matters and organisational effectiveness.
  • Support workforce planning and organisational design initiatives.
  • Use people data and insights to inform decision-making and improve business outcomes.
  • Support talent review, succession planning, and leadership development processes. Partner with leaders to identify and develop high-potential talent and drive performance management practices that promote accountability and high performance.
  • Provide input into creation of recruitment strategies and workforce capability planning.
  • Partner with leaders to create wellbeing, diversity, equity and inclusion programmes, which champion organisational values and create the desired culture.
  • Support employee engagement initiatives and action planning.
  • Lead and support organisational change initiatives; assess people impacts of business changes and develop mitigation plans and coach leaders through transformation activities.
  • Drive adoption of new ways of working and contribute to enterprise-wide people initiatives and projects.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, policies, and employee experience.
  • Ensure HR policies and practices remain aligned with business needs and legislation.

What We Are Looking For

  • CIPD qualification, or equivalent experience.
  • Significant HR generalist experience, ideally in a Business Partner role within a commercially focused environment.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and employee relations practices.
  • Experience partnering with senior leaders.
  • Strong coaching, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience supporting organisational change and transformation.
  • Ability to analyse people data and provide business-focused insights.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience of managing and driving HR initiatives in a fast-paced, complex environment.
  • Trade Union experience.
  • Strong compliance background; ability to work with commercial teams to look at TOM and OD modelling.
