Job Title: People & Culture Coordinator

The Peninsula London is seeking to hire a People & Culture Coordinator to provide comprehensive support to our People & Culture and Talent Acquisition teams. This is a varied and exciting role, supporting the smooth delivery of day-to-day HR processes, colleague onboarding and offboarding, recruitment activities, engagement initiatives and HR administration. The successful candidate will play an important role in ensuring our colleagues and candidates receive a professional, engaging and seamless experience throughout their journey with The Peninsula London.

Key Accountabilities

  • Provide comprehensive administrative and operational support to the People & Culture team across a broad range of HR processes and procedures, with a particular focus on Talent Acquisition and colleague experience.
  • Support the People & Culture Manager and wider HR team with day-to-day activities, including administration, meeting coordination, note-taking, reporting, documentation and ad-hoc projects as required.
  • Coordinate the full onboarding and offboarding lifecycle for colleagues, ensuring all required documentation, system updates, communications and internal processes are completed accurately and within agreed timelines.
  • Provide administrative support to the Talent Acquisition team, including maintaining the recruitment system, job descriptions, organisational charts, job requisitions and job postings, as well as coordinating interviews and recruitment-related activities.
  • Support the planning and coordination of Talent Acquisition activities, recruitment events and other employer branding initiatives.
  • Coordinate and support colleague engagement, recognition, wellbeing and reward activities.
  • Build effective working relationships with colleagues, managers and internal and external stakeholders, providing a responsive and professional HR service while maintaining high standards of confidentiality, accuracy, organisation and attention to detail.

  • Strong administrative and organisational skills, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • A genuine interest in HR and Talent Acquisition, with enthusiasm for supporting both colleagues and candidates throughout their journey.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the confidence and ability to build positive relationships with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong IT skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience using HR or Talent Acquisition systems would be advantageous.
  • Fluent English communication proficiency, both written and verbal.
