About WeBuyVintage

WeBuyVintage is one of the UK’s largest buyers of jewellery, antiques, and collectibles. We run more roadshows than any other UK company - over 250 valuation events every month - bringing trusted experts face-to-face with customers across the country.

In three years, we’ve grown from a pub-table idea into an eight-figure business, with a headcount that’s grown from 30 to 100 in the last 2 years and we’re on a mission to make WeBuyVintage a brand everyone recognises.

The Role

We are looking for an experienced People & Culture Manager to join our growing People team.

Reporting to the Head of People, you’ll join us at an exciting stage of growth and play a key role in building and developing our People function, combining day-to-day HR operations with ownership of core People processes, systems, culture initiatives, and projects.

Our People team currently includes two Talent Acquisition Specialists and two Talent Coordinators, based in our Cambridge office, which is home to around 20 employees and growing quickly.

With teams across our Cambridge, Leeds, and Darlington offices, this is a broad, hands-on role with plenty of opportunity to shape how we do things as the business continues to scale.

Main Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Manage the employee lifecycle, ensuring People processes run smoothly and effectively.
  • Act as a key point of contact for day-to-day People queries, including HRIS, onboarding, policies, and People processes.
  • Own the day-to-day management and development of our HRIS (BrightHR), ensuring accurate employee data, effective processes, and strong system adoption.
  • Produce and maintain People reporting, dashboards, and key HR metrics.
  • Own and maintain HR documentation, templates, policies, and employee records.
  • Partner with the Head of People on an ambitious programme of People & Culture projects over the next 12 months and beyond, including employee engagement surveys, performance review cycles, evolving our company values, and reviewing our benefits offering.
  • Help bring our culture and values to life through People initiatives that strengthen engagement, recognition, and connection across the business.
  • Play an active role in the Social Committee, supporting the planning and delivery of company-wide events, including our Summer and Christmas parties, as well as local initiatives and events across our Cambridge, Leeds, and Darlington offices.
  • Support internal People communications and initiatives that help employees across our different locations feel informed, connected, and engaged.
  • Identify opportunities to improve, simplify, and strengthen People processes and the overall employee experience.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
