KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Infrastructure building:
- Continue to build the frameworks that enable high performance and frictionless growth, from talent forecasting to talent management to performance management
HRIS implementation and data management:
- Continue to build the backend of Rippling in response to company needs and maintain accurate colleague records
Payroll:
- Partner with the Financial Controller, ensuring all relevant monthly updates are captured in Rippling
Recruitment:
- Maintain, and where necessary, improve the standard for ‘what good hiring looks like’; hire end-to-end for roles as agreed between you, the Chief of Staff, the US People & Culture partner, and any external support
Onboarding:
- Ensure new starters feel welcomed, supported and set up for success from day one; continuously improve onboarding materials, processes and tools
Leaders and manager partnership:
- Advise, guide and coach leaders and managers, partnering to handle people matters with balance and care
Employee relations:
- Lead on all employee relations cases, balancing legal compliance with fact-based, but human-rooted approaches
EU expansion:
- Lead on legal employment document formation to ensure compliant hiring across new EU hubs (partnering with local legal support)

Legal and compliance:
- Ensure the UK and EU hubs operate compliantly (including contract formation and updates), staying up to date with legislation and implementing as needed
Cross-country and local culture:
- Drive and partner on social and cultural initiatives that bring our global and local teams together, working for ‘one Curate Group’
Colleague support:
- Act as a point of contact for colleague queries related to people processes
Team comms:
- Support internal communications and team updates
Documentation:
- Create and maintain internal documentation, policies, process guides and trackers (including handbook updates, hiring tracker updates, policy creation from legislative updates, Rippling process instructions etc)
Supporting wider team initiatives as required
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
- New joiners that are consistently rated ‘would hire again’ by the hiring managers
- A consistent, welcoming new joiner experience that trains them for success
- Productive and engaged teams, with plans in place to grow and support those who need it
- Company-wide awareness and adherence to our policies and principles
- Accurate, compliant and well-maintained people records
- Scalable people processes that support rapid growth across key territories

IDEAL PROFILE
- Proven experience in the People & Culture field (likely 5+ years - CIPD qualified preferred, but not essential)
- Driven by making a difference to people and a positive, performance-led impact on a business
- Commercially aware with an understanding of what makes a headcount sustainable
- Highly organised, detail-oriented and reliable, taking real ownership of your systems and deadlines - comfortable managing multiple workstreams simultaneously
- Curious about people and psychology, confident in communication at all levels
- Accurate with high attention to detail
- Discreet, trustworthy and calm under pressure
- Comfortable with Google Suite and team collaboration tools
