Description

£29,217.0 per annum (basic salary) and £3,630 per annum (geographical allowance)

At Together for Mental Wellbeing, we believe that great support starts with great people. We're looking for a highly organised and proactive People Development Officer to help us deliver engaging learning opportunities that enable our colleagues to provide outstanding, service user-led support across the organisation. Working within our Learning and Development team, you'll be at the heart of our learning and development function. You'll coordinate learning activities, support the administration and continuous improvement of our Learning Management System, provide advice and guidance to managers and colleagues, and help ensure learning remains accessible, effective, and aligned with organisational priorities.

Key Responsibilities

Functional Responsibilities

You will combine L&D administration, systems coordination, and people development activities.

As the first point of contact for administrative support with the L&D team, you will ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of learning activities, while supporting learning needs analysis, reporting, and advice and support for managers and staff.

Learning and Development Tasks

  • Act as the first point of contact for L&D enquiries, ensuring effective prioritisation and response in relation to general L&D processes and procedures, the Learning Management System (LMS), L&D intranet pages, e-learning, and both classroom-based and online facilitated learning.
  • Liaise with learning providers to organise efficient and effective working and resolve queries.
  • Schedule facilitated learning, manage calendars and communications, including:
    • Scheduling facilitated learning sessions on MS Teams or Zoom.
    • Sending out calendar invites, reminders, Zoom links, survey links, supporting materials, and certificates of learning.
    • Distributing and processing attendance lists.
    • Coordinate cancellation charges.
    • Providing troubleshooting to learners accessing online learning via MS Teams and Zoom.
    • Meet, greet, and be available to support trainers.
  • Conduct trainer reference checks.
  • Advise and coach managers around processes, procedures, policies, and information held on the LMS/HRIS.
  • Conduct Learning Needs Analyses, analysing data, identifying gaps, and recommending and/or arranging targeted local support for our services.
  • Produce and analyse management information reports, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities and make recommendations to improve engagement and compliance.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
