Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
- Professional certification in Human Resources Management.
- 5 years of experience in Human Resources, People Operations, or a related generalist role.
- 2 years of experience performing data analysis and thematic reporting to identify organizational issues.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience working with global teams and navigating cultural differences.
- Experience leveraging AI tools to enhance collaboration or streamline HR processes.
- Experience using data to drive HR decisions and providing recommendations to senior stakeholders.
- Knowledge of HR trends and best practices.
About the job
The People and Culture (P&C) Experience and Delivery Partner team provides responsive day-to-day P&C support and generalist advice, operating as trusted advisors for Google DeepMind’s (GDM) Leaders and Managers. Working in close partnership with GDM P&C Partners, they build leadership and manager capabilities, deliver operational excellence, and gather and analyze employee experience insights to support the P&C needs of the organization and drive high-performance across GDM.
This role is embedded in our People and Culture team and reports to a People Experience and Delivery Lead. In this role, you will provide dynamic and responsive coaching for leaders and managers on policies, processes, and best practices related to key P&C topics including performance management, development, and policy exceptions. Additionally, you will contribute to the development of scalable solutions to build Manager capability and separately manage employee life-cycle processes. This is an exciting and varied role for a separate contributor looking to make a significant impact on GDM's mission.

This is a 12 month Fixed-Term Contract (FTC) role.

Responsibilities
- Provide dynamic and responsive coaching and advice for Leaders and Managers on performance management, development, and policy exceptions.
- Partner with P&C Partners to deliver unit-specific organizational efforts including reorgs and large-scale performance management initiatives.
- Manage employee life-cycle processes, including exits and flexible working arrangements.
- Identify and drive process improvement initiatives to streamline query management and resolve recurring issues through root-cause analysis.
- Conduct data analysis to identify employee experience themes and insights that inform decision-making and support high-performance.
