People Experience Lead

Reporting to: Chief People Officer

The role

As our People Experience Lead, you will help shape how work happens at Paymentology. You will design, implement and continuously improve the frameworks, experiences, and insights that support performance, progression, engagement, and retention across the business.

You will work closely with senior leaders, People Partners, People Operations, Total Rewards and other cross-functional teams to turn employee feedback and organisational insight into meaningful action and outcomes.

This role combines strategic thinking with practical execution. We are looking for someone who can build from first principles, improve how we operate at scale, and leverage technology and AI-enabled solutions to create better, simpler, and more scalable people experiences

What You Will Do

You will help define, implement and evolve the systems that shape how our people perform, grow, and experience the business.

Your areas of ownership will include:

  • Designing and improving our employee experience and ways of working
  • Embedding behaviours that support our culture and business goals
  • Owning our employee listening approach, including pulse surveys and engagement insights
  • Turning feedback and data into clear, practical recommendations and organisational action
  • Leading the design, implementation and evolution of our performance and progression frameworks
  • Improving fairness and consistency in performance reviews, calibration, and promotion decisions
  • Identifying retention risks and working with People Partners and leaders to address them
  • Driving measurable improvements in employee experience and performance practices
  • Leveraging automation, AI-enabled tools, and scalable solutions to improve people processes and organisational insight

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
