Our journey from start-up to global leader in industrial Carbon Capture

Carbon Clean has been developing and providing carbon capture solutions since 2009. Over the years, we have grown our expertise and technology, including our CycloneCC system, to help heavy industry reduce carbon emissions more efficiently. In the next phase of our growth, we are seeking an impactful People Experience Lead.

📍 London (Hybrid – minimum 3 days a week in office) Permanent | 💰 Competitive + Benefits

The Role

Reporting to the Head of People Experience, this is a hands-on, high-impact role at the heart of our People team. You will own and continuously improve how our People function operates day to day, making sure our processes, systems and services are efficient, scalable and genuinely support our people and business.

Working closely with leaders, managers and the Head of People Experience, you will deliver an outstanding employee experience across the full lifecycle, from joining to leaving. It is an exciting opportunity to shape how People Operations evolves in a scaling, global business.

What does success look like

  • You are trusted with confidential matters and handle them with maturity and discretion.
  • You roll your sleeves up and take ownership, working with high levels of autonomy and good judgement.
  • You build credibility with senior stakeholders, and are confident to challenge and improve existing ways of working.
  • You are comfortable with ambiguity: you ask the right questions, then run with it.
  • Lifecycle processes, from onboarding to offboarding, are delivered on time, accurately and consistently across all regions.
  • People data in HiBob and Deel is accurate, with automations in place and reliable reporting on key metrics.
  • Payroll inputs, compensation changes and benefits administration are delivered accurately and on time across the UK, US and ROW.
  • Town Halls and People communications are engaging, clear and consistent.

Responsibilities consist of but not limited to…

Employee Lifecycle & People Operations

  • Own and continuously improve the end-to-end employee lifecycle, ensuring onboarding, contractual changes and offboarding are delivered in a timely, high-quality way.
  • Optimise and scale People processes across the business, identifying opportunities for automation and efficiency.
  • Partner closely with leaders and managers to provide practical, employee-focused guidance on People policies, processes and queries.
  • Support the people integration aspects of M&A activity, including onboarding, data management and process alignment.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
