People Experience Partner

Ever had to coach a manager through a tough conversation at 9am, then present workforce trends to the board by 3pm? At Lomond, our People Experience Partner does both. The role is offered on a flexible basis, split two days at our Troy Mills office in Horsforth, Leeds and two days across our branches in Yorkshire & Scotland, reporting to the Group People Director.

Lomond is one of the UK's largest & fastest growing property services groups, and growth like ours needs strong people foundations. This role is the hands-on HR presence managers turn to for everyday casework, while giving our leadership team the workforce insight they need to make good calls, from resolving ER cases to shaping how we manage change through acquisitions.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Be the first point of contact for managers & colleagues on people matters across your patch, resolving issues in real time
  • Build close relationships with branch & operational managers to spot problems early
  • Own routine ER casework, from probation & absence to disciplinary & grievance, escalating the complex cases
  • Coach managers through difficult conversations so they can lead people matters well
  • Support colleagues directly, resolving concerns before they escalate
  • Provide hands-on support through change activity, including restructures, TUPE & acquisition integration
  • Flag people risk & compliance issues promptly, keeping accurate records for your patch
  • Turn people data into workforce analytics that inform decisions at Executive & Board level

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
