Team Introduction
The People Operations team sits within the broader People team to improve our overall employee experience. We optimise the employee lifecycle and use data to align staff needs with core business goals. You'll partner closely with various business units to foster a highly supportive workplace. This team empowers our people, ensuring they have the foundation to thrive every day.
Job Purpose
Reporting to the Senior People Generalist and People Data Analyst, you'll act as the first point of contact for HR queries. You'll deliver seamless support across onboarding, offboarding, and internal moves using our HRIS, Dayforce. You'll collaborate with the People & Culture team to improve processes, manage benefits, and support key initiatives.
By providing essential support, you'll ensure a positive experience for all of our employees. You'll maintain a strong focus on accurate administration, helping us introduce smarter ways of working across the business.
What You'll Do
- Administer accurate and timely processes for onboarding, offboarding, and internal moves
- Manage and deliver weekly Day 1 orientation sessions alongside fellow People Generalists
- Maintain HR systems, employee files, and documentation accurately within Dayforce
- Provide administrative support for absence management, probation, and parental leave
- Respond to first-line employee relations queries from employees and managers
- Support the People & Culture team with process improvements and benefits administration

What You'll Bring
- Experience using Dayforce or a similar HRIS platform
- Organisational skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
- A collaborative approach to building positive relationships across the business
- Excellent attention to detail for managing HR data and contracts
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and improving established HR processes

This is a hybrid role, working two (2) days per week from our Bath Office.
