People & HR Assistant

Bicester | Hybrid (3 days in the office)

Salary: Competitive, depending on experience

We're looking for someone who's naturally curious, loves working with people, enjoys being busy and wants to build an incredible career in HR.

From day one you'll be involved in everything from recruitment and onboarding to supporting managers, improving employee experiences.

You'll work alongside experienced HR Consultants, supporting a wide range of clients, learning every day and getting exposure to the full employee lifecycle. We'll challenge you, support you, invest in you and celebrate your successes along the way.

What you'll be doing

Every day is different, but you can expect to:

  • Be part of creating brilliant employee experiences from offer through to onboarding and beyond.
  • Prepare contracts, offer letters and HR documentation that is professional, accurate and people-focused.
  • Support recruitment from end to end, including writing job adverts, sourcing candidates, managing agencies, coordinating interviews, providing candidate feedback and completing references.
  • Keep our clients HR systems up to date while constantly looking for ways to improve how we work.
  • Support managers and employees with day-to-day HR queries, helping them find practical, people-focused solutions.
  • Assist with absence management, probation reviews, employee changes and general HR administration.
  • Help prepare payroll information and make sure everything is accurate and submitted on time.
  • Produce HR reports and insights that help inform business decisions.
  • Review and update HR policies to ensure they remain compliant and relevant.
  • Get involved in exciting HR and people projects that genuinely improve culture, engagement and the employee experience.
