Join Our Team as a People Assistant: Fostering Excellence in People Practices!
Are you ready to embark on a transformative journey as a People Assistant? We're seeking an individual to work as part of the People & Culture Team to provide a professional, high-quality and timely HR administration/transactional service to our colleagues and key stakeholders throughout the company.
You will be responsible for delivering a high quality and efficient customer service to our colleagues. The role involves providing a full People administration service as well as supporting our People Business Partners with people queries and providing first line advice.
This role is based in our Head Office in Fazakerley and we currently support a hybrid working arrangement.

Key Responsibilities
- Supporting our hiring managers by posting vacancies to our recruitment platform and full administration of the system.
- Preparation and issuing of contractual information, completing DBS, RTW and reference checks via our online platform and adding all new starters to our HR and internal platforms.
- Ensure all employee records are updated and maintained accurately on our HRIS.
- To carry out informal coaching with managers regarding the correct completion of People administration forms.
- Provide first-line advice to managers and colleagues on our policies and procedures and using judgement as to when to escalate queries to our People Business Partners.
- To take ownership of the whole people administration process and use initiative and liaise with our People Business Partners to recommend new efficient ways of working or processes.
- Providing a full offboarding service including, processing termination requests on our HRIS, issuing confirmation letters and completing other associated leavers administration tasks.

Essential Skills
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate HR administration experience, have an understanding of the employee lifecycle and have an awareness of employment law.
