HR Trainer

Are you ready to use your deep employee relations expertise to coach leaders, build capability, and transform management practices from the ground up?

A leading UK infrastructure contractor is looking for an HR Trainer to join their team, who will be travelling across regional sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and Deliver Practical Training: Build, update, and deliver engaging, scenario-based workshops focusing on performance improvement plans, absence management, conflict resolution, and disciplinary and grievance procedures.
  • Identify Capability Gaps: Assess operational management behaviours across the organisation, developing structured learning frameworks that align line-management practices with policies, values, and legal standards.
  • Coach Frontline Leaders: Provide dedicated guidance to supervisors and site managers, equipping them to lead difficult conversations, deliver constructive feedback, and resolve employee relations issues early and fairly.
  • Act as a Trusted Operational Advisor: Partner with regional managers across multiple sites, offering visible, practical HR insight that balances day-to-day operational priorities with legal compliance and people risk.
  • Provide Hands-On Regional Support: Undertake regular travel across the UK to conduct face-to-face workshops, build strong stakeholder relationships, and embed consistent management standards across distributed teams.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
