HYROX

HYROX is a global sports event series that combines running and functional fitness training in a unique race format. Founded in Germany in 2017, HYROX has evolved into a worldwide fitness movement with events across five continents, attracting tens of thousands of athletes every season.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We're looking for a proactive People Manager (m/f/d) to join us on a 12-month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave to start mid- September.

In this role, you'll be the main point of contact for over 40 employees and managers in our UK entity, taking ownership of day-to-day People operations and ensuring our UK team receives expert, hands-on People support. Working closely with our global People team in Germany, you'll ensure UK People processes are compliant, employee-focused and run smoothly.

For this hands-on HR generalist role we're looking for someone who can quickly build relationships, work independently and confidently manage People matters from day one in a fast-paced, growing business.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Be the trusted People partner for our UK team, acting as the first point of contact for employees and managers across all day-to-day People matters.
  • Deliver a first-class employee experience by managing onboarding and offboarding in collaboration with global Talent Acquisition, IT and hiring managers.
  • Drive the day-to-day delivery of People Operations across our UK entities, ensuring processes are compliant, efficient and employee-focused.
  • Prepare and maintain all UK employment documentation, ensuring employee records and HR systems remain accurate, compliant and up to date.
  • Coordinate monthly payroll inputs with our Finance team and external payroll provider, ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time.
  • Own employee relations cases from start to finish, including absence management, performance, disciplinary, grievance, family leave and flexible working.
  • Provide practical, commercially minded advice to global managers on UK employment law, policies and People best practices.
  • Partner closely with our global People team to coordinate UK-specific People initiatives and ensure local requirements are implemented seamlessly.
  • Help bring our culture to life by supporting engagement & wellbeing initiatives across our growing UK team.
  • Continuously look for smarter, more efficient ways of working, improving People processes as we continue to grow.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
