Team - People Operations

Working Pattern

Hybrid 2 days per week in the Vitality Stockport Office. Full time, 35 hours per week.

What this Role is All About

As a People Administrator at Vitality, you'll help bring our people processes to life and make a real difference to the colleague experience. You'll be supporting employees at key moments throughout their career journey, providing expert administrative support, maintaining accurate people data and ensuring important People processes run smoothly behind the scenes. Whether you're helping a new starter settle into the business, responding to employee queries or producing essential HR documentation, you'll play a vital role in delivering a professional, responsive and people-centred service. Working with colleagues across People and the wider business, you'll help create an environment where people feel supported, valued and empowered to succeed.

Key Actions

  • Provide accurate and professional People administration support to employees and stakeholders.
  • Support colleagues throughout the employee lifecycle, from onboarding through to leaving the business.
  • Maintain and update SuccessFactors and HR systems, ensuring records are accurate and processed within agreed SLAs.
  • Resolve queries through My Service and the shared mailbox, escalating complex matters when required.
  • Produce letters, contracts, references, and employment documentation with a high level of accuracy.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, reporting, and operational efficiency across People Operations.

  • Previous HR administration experience within a busy people or operational environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage confidential information with integrity.
  • Confidence working with People systems and handling data accurately.
  • A proactive approach with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
