We are looking for an organised, proactive and customer-focused HR Administrator to join our People Operations team and play an important role in delivering an efficient and professional HR service across the College.

This is a varied and busy role providing high-quality administrative support across the full range of People Operations activities, with a particular focus on recruitment, onboarding, employee administration and staff development.

Working closely with the People Operations team, Payroll, managers and colleagues across the College, you will help ensure that our HR processes run smoothly and that staff and candidates receive a responsive and professional service.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Supporting recruitment campaigns from advertisement through to appointment, including arranging interviews, preparing recruitment documentation and communicating with candidates.
  • Coordinating pre-employment and onboarding checks, including DBS checks, references, right-to-work checks and other required documentation.
  • Assisting with the preparation and issuing of contracts and employment correspondence.
  • Managing and responding to enquiries received through People Operations and recruitment inboxes, escalating more complex matters where appropriate.
  • Maintaining accurate employee records and updating the College’s HR systems.
  • Liaising with Payroll to help ensure employee information is accurate and staff are paid correctly.
  • Supporting the administration and monitoring of mandatory and staff development training.
  • Preparing reports and maintaining accurate records for auditing, monitoring and compliance purposes.
  • Supporting meetings, events and wider People Operations projects, including identifying opportunities to improve administrative processes.

About You

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
