People Operations Co-ordinator - FTC till end of December 2026

We are looking for a People Operations Co-ordinator to help keep our people processes accurate, organised and easy to use. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys detail, structure and working across the full employee lifecycle in a role that supports a business at national scale.

At Pay.UK, your work will connect to an organisation that maintains and develops UK retail payment systems used every day by people and businesses across the country. You will join a team that values clarity, trust and continuous improvement, and you will help us deliver a consistent colleague experience through effective people administration and co-ordination.

Accountabilities

  • Co-ordinate people administration across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, contractual changes and leaver processes.
  • Maintain accurate employee records in HR systems and shared files, checking data carefully and updating information on time.
  • Prepare people documents such as letters, contracts and standard employment documentation using approved templates and processes.
  • Respond to employee and manager queries on people processes, policies and systems, providing clear and timely information.
  • Support recruitment administration by arranging interviews, preparing documentation and tracking candidate progress through agreed processes.
  • Monitor shared inboxes and workflow queues, prioritising requests and directing queries to the right colleague when needed.
  • Produce regular people reports and basic data summaries to support team activity, audits and routine decision-making.
  • Work with colleagues across People Operations and the wider business to improve process consistency, documentation and service delivery.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

  • Experience co-ordinating HR or people administration across core employee lifecycle processes in a structured workplace environment.
  • Experience maintaining accurate records and producing employment documentation within HR systems or other business systems.
  • Ability to manage a busy workload, prioritise competing tasks and meet deadlines across multiple processes.
  • Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally when responding to employee and manager queries.
  • Experience handling sensitive personal information with accuracy, precision, and appropriate confidentiality.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
