People Operations Coordinator
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a People Operations Coordinator based in United Kingdom.
This role sits at the heart of a global People function, supporting onboarding, HR, talent operations, and employee experience.
You will help ensure that new joiners have a smooth, engaging, and well-organized start while continuously improving the underlying processes.
The position combines hands-on operational coordination with systems management, documentation, data organization, and process optimization.
You will work across multiple People and Talent tools while exploring how AI can make everyday workflows more efficient.
The role offers significant autonomy and is suited to someone proactive, highly organized, and comfortable taking ownership in a fast-moving environment.
You will collaborate with colleagues across different locations, cultures, and time zones within a fully distributed organization.
With room to expand into broader People and Talent Operations responsibilities, this is an opportunity to grow your impact and career within a global People team.
Accountabilities
- Continuously improve the onboarding experience by ensuring processes are clear, consistent, efficient, and up to date.
- Coordinate operational activities supporting new joiners and help create a smooth and engaging onboarding journey.
- Review, update, and maintain internal People resources and onboarding documentation, including Notion pages.
- Handle operational tasks across onboarding, Talent, and HR, including system updates, data filtering, and report preparation.
- Maintain accurate, well-organized People data, documentation, and records across relevant systems.
- Help optimize the use of AI, digital tools, and People systems to improve operational efficiency.
- Identify opportunities to simplify processes, improve workflows, and enhance the employee experience.
- Collaborate closely with People, HR, recruitment, and onboarding stakeholders to ensure processes run effectively.
- Support multiple operational priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Take ownership of assigned processes and tasks, proactively identifying issues and proposing improvements.
- Contribute to the continuous development of broader People and Talent Operations activities as the role evolves.

Requirements
- Experience in a similar People Operations, HR operations, administrative, onboarding, or coordination role.
- Experience working closely with onboarding, HR, recruiting, or broader People teams.
- Experience using AI to improve efficiency in your work, or a strong interest and willingness to learn how to apply AI effectively.
- Comfortable working across multiple tools and systems, including platforms such as Notion and applicant tracking systems.
- Strong interest in People Operations, employee experience, and process improvement.
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and a strong ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proactive and self-driven approach, with the confidence to take ownership of tasks and processes.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, evolving, and highly distributed environment.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to give and receive feedback and support colleagues toward shared goals.
- Performance-oriented and growth-minded, with a willingness to experiment, learn from mistakes, and continuously improve.
- Curious and humble approach, with the confidence to ask questions and seek support when needed.
- Experience working with teams across different locations, cultures, and time zones is advantageous.
- Flexibility to accommodate some working-hour overlap with Beijing time is a plus.
- Interest in the gaming industry or game development is beneficial.
