About The Role
The SurePoint People team is looking for a thoughtful, organized People Operations Coordinator who is excited to help create a smooth and dependable experience for employees, candidates, and managers.
You’ll join a collaborative three-person People team, reporting to the Manager, People and working closely with the People Operations Generalist & Recruiter. You’ll support important moments throughout the employee journey, including interview scheduling, onboarding, benefits, employee changes, and offboarding. You’ll also keep employee information accurate, coordinate with teams and outside partners, and help employees find clear answers to everyday questions.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys helping people, organizing the details, and keeping important processes moving. You’ll have meaningful ownership of your work, along with the support of experienced People teammates when questions or more complex situations arise.

What You’ll Do
- Monitor the People Team inbox and help make sure questions and requests reach the right person.
- Coordinate interviews, candidate communications, background checks, and prehire paperwork.
- Guide new employees and contractors through onboarding and lead new-hire orientation.
- Process routine benefits enrollments, life-event changes, and eligibility updates.
- Help employees navigate benefit resources and connect with vendors when needed.
- Coordinate the administrative steps for employee leaves and track important dates and documents.
- Partner with Payroll, IT, Finance, and managers on employee changes, new hires, and departures.
- Maintain accurate employee information, records, forms, and People Team resources.
- Coordinate offboarding tasks and support unemployment claim administration.
- Help plan employee events, recognition programs, and connection activities.
- Notice recurring questions or process gaps and suggest practical improvements.
- Handle sensitive information with care and know when to bring in additional support.
What You’ll Bring
- At least two years of experience in people operations or HR coordination.
- Experience supporting benefits enrollment, employee questions, or vendor coordination.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks with varying deadlines.
- Clear, professional, and approachable communication skills.
- Comfort working with spreadsheets, employee systems, and confidential information.
- A service-focused mindset balanced with good judgment and consistent follow-through.
- Experience with Microsoft tools; SharePoint or Paylocity experience is a plus.
- An associate’s or bachelor’s degree is preferred, but equivalent practical experience is welcome.

Salary Description
$55,000-$65,000
