Contract: 3 months
Role: Interim People Operations Coordinator
Start: ASAP / short notice preferred
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 FTE (Umbrella)
Hybrid: 2/3 days office-based
We're supporting an exciting digital health business in their search for an experienced Interim People Operations Coordinator to join their team on a 3-month contract.
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys being close to the detail, keeping People processes running smoothly and providing a responsive and helpful service to employees and managers.
You'll work closely with the wider People team, supporting a broad range of day-to-day People Operations activity including onboarding and offboarding, employee queries, pre-employment checks, payroll administration and HRIS management.
The Role
As Interim People Operations Coordinator, you'll be responsible for:
- Providing day-to-day People Operations support to employees and managers.
- Responding to employee queries and helping resolve questions or directing them to the right person.
- Supporting onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring documentation is completed accurately and on time.
- Managing and supporting DBS checks and pre-employment processes.
- Assisting with payroll administration and ensuring employee information is accurate and submitted within deadlines.
- Maintaining employee records and supporting reporting through Rippling.
- Supporting the wider People team with administration, data and ad hoc People projects.
- Working across Google Workspace, including Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets and Calendar.
- Ensuring People records and documentation remain accurate, organised and up to date.

About You
We're looking for someone who can hit the ground running and is comfortable working across a variety of People processes.

You'll ideally have:
- Previous experience in a People Operations, HR Coordinator or HR Generalist role.
- Experience working with an HRIS; Rippling experience would be a bonus.
- Experience supporting onboarding and offboarding.
- Experience with DBS checks and pre-employment processes.
- Some experience supporting payroll administration.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
- Confidence responding to employee queries and working with stakeholders at all levels.
- A proactive, hands-on approach and the ability to work independently.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach.
