Role Overview

We work at the intersection of sport and data, and our people are how we win. We're looking for a People and Operations Lead to own People & Culture at TFG day to day: the systems, the processes, and the moments that make this a place people want to build a career.

You'll take direct ownership of our people operations, reporting to Ben, our MD, and working closely with the wider TFG team on shared frameworks and standards.

What You'll Do

  • Own and oversee end-to-end HR operations from onboarding to offboarding
  • Ensure the accurate and timely completion of all pre-employment screening and onboarding processes
  • Maintain data integrity, accuracy, and compliance across the entire employee lifecycle
  • Manage employee records and data privacy protocols with high attention to detail
  • Ensure that HR operations comply with all applicable legal and regulatory requirements, including GDPR and employment legislation
  • Identify and implement process improvements to streamline HR operations and enhance service delivery
  • Embed High Performance Behaviours. Take our six sporting-led behaviours (Step Up, Chase the 1%, Set the Pace, Raise the Bar, Play for the Badge, Stick to The Scorecard) out of the doc and into real life - interview scorecards, onboarding, performance reviews, progression cases, pay calibration and recognition
  • Run the performance and reward cycle. Deliver the FY review cycle end to end. Support annual pay benchmarking and help the leadership team share it clearly, by team, with the right context
  • Stay ahead of UK employment law. Handle employee relations cases fairly and confidently

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
