Frazer Jones is supporting an established organisation in the search for an experienced People Operations Manager to join their team in Bath.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive HR professional who enjoys balancing operational excellence with strategic people initiatives. You'll lead a small team, oversee the day-to-day delivery of people services, and work closely with leaders across the business to ensure a positive and high-performing employee experience.
The Opportunity
As People Operations Manager, you'll be responsible for ensuring the people function operates effectively, efficiently, and in line with business objectives. You'll play a key role in supporting managers, developing processes, and driving continuous improvement across the employee lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading and developing a small People team, ensuring excellent service delivery
- Providing expert guidance and support to managers on employee-related matters
- Overseeing recruitment activity, from workforce planning through to onboarding
- Managing employee relations matters and supporting complex casework
- Driving improvements across people processes, systems, and policies
- Supporting talent development, performance management, and succession planning initiatives
- Assisting with organisational change projects and workforce planning activities
- Supporting compensation, benefits, and benchmarking exercises
- Ensuring compliance with employment legislation and internal governance requirements
- Producing and analysing people data to support decision-making and identify trends

About You
We're looking for an experienced HR professional who combines strong operational knowledge with a collaborative and solutions-focused approach.
You'll ideally bring:
- Previous experience in a People Operations or HR Manager role
- CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent practical experience
- Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practice
- Experience managing employee relations matters from start to finish
- A track record of improving processes and enhancing service delivery
- Experience leading, coaching, or developing team members
- The confidence to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
