Are you a strategic people leader who thrives in fast-paced, high-profile environments?
We're looking for an exceptional People Operations Manager to lead the people agenda across one of the UK's flagship Premier League stadium accounts.
This is a unique opportunity to shape workforce strategy, drive operational excellence and create an outstanding colleague experience within a world-class hospitality and events environment. Leading a large and diverse workforce, you will partner with senior operational leaders to ensure the right people, capability and culture are in place to deliver exceptional guest experiences across matchdays, concerts, conferences and major events.
As the senior People lead on site, you'll influence business performance through innovative workforce planning, talent acquisition, engagement and people development initiatives. If you're a commercially minded HR professional with experience leading high-volume teams and delivering people strategy in a complex operational environment, we'd love to hear from you.

Job Responsibilities
- Lead the People function across a flagship Premier League stadium, ensuring the delivery of an effective, scalable and high-performing people operations model.
- Partner with senior operational leaders to align workforce strategy, talent initiatives and organisational capability with commercial objectives and event delivery requirements.
- Oversee workforce planning, recruitment and onboarding for a large, flexible workforce, ensuring operational readiness for matchdays, events and hospitality operations.
- Lead, develop and inspire a team of People Operations Partners, driving consistency, accountability and excellent people support across the business.
- Drive colleague engagement, retention and performance, embedding a positive and inclusive culture that enables teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
- Provide expert employee relations leadership, managing complex cases, mitigating business risk and ensuring compliance with UK employment legislation and best practice.
- Own labour optimisation and workforce efficiency strategies, balancing service excellence with cost control, reducing agency dependency and improving productivity.
- Utilise people data and insights to influence decision-making, identify trends, improve operational performance and support future business growth opportunities.
Key Requirements
- Significant experience in a senior HR or People leadership role within a fast-paced hospitality, retail, events, leisure or venue environment.
- Proven ability to develop and deliver people strategies that drive engagement, performance, retention and measurable business outcomes.
- Strong leadership capability, with experience managing, coaching and developing high-performing people teams.
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, with confidence partnering senior operational leaders and challenging constructively when required.
- Comprehensive knowledge of UK employment law and employee relations, with experience managing complex and sensitive people matters.
- Commercially minded and highly analytical, with the ability to use workforce data and insights to improve productivity, optimise labour costs and support business growth.
