People Operations Officer - Royal Dublin Society and Horse Racing Ireland, Dublin, D04 | Full-Time / Permanent

We're looking for...

The People Operations Officer supports the smooth delivery of people operations across Levy Ireland venues, including workforce planning, staffing, payroll, wellbeing and training. Working closely with Hospitality Management and the People & Culture Manager, the role is hands-on and collaborative, ensuring effective day-to-day people support in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

People Operations Officer - The Role

  • Workforce Planning & Rostering: Manage staffing plans and rosters with Hospitality Managers and HODs to meet operational needs.
  • Agency Management: Coordinate staffing requirements with Constellation, including bookings, changes, performance and staff briefings.
  • On-Site People Support: Manage staff check-ins/outs, attendance and wellbeing, escalating issues where required.
  • Uniform & Staff Logistics: Coordinate uniform distribution and collection, as well as staff meal requirements for events and shifts.
  • Timesheets & Payroll: Ensure accurate timesheets, approvals and payroll information, resolving discrepancies promptly.
  • Training & Development: Coordinate training for employees and agency staff, monitor compliance and maintain training records.
  • Communication & Information: Keep venue information displays accurate and up to date for staff and management.
  • People & Culture Support: Provide day-to-day HR administration and support the People & Culture Manager with people initiatives, policies and processes.

What We're Looking For

  • People Operations Experience: Previous HR, people operations or workforce coordination experience, ideally in hospitality, events or high-volume environments.
  • Workforce Systems: Experience with rostering and workforce management systems; Ubeya experience desirable.
  • Organisation & Detail: Highly organised with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Communication: Confident communicator with the ability to build strong relationships with managers, staff and stakeholders.
  • Prioritisation: Able to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced operational environment.
  • Problem Solving: Practical, hands-on approach with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Collaboration: Strong team player who builds positive working relationships and supports colleagues.
  • Employee Focus & Accountability: Committed to employee wellbeing, operational excellence and taking ownership of responsibilities.
