This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps.

Our partner is looking for a People Operations Partner based in United Kingdom.

We’re looking for a hands-on People Operations Partner to help deliver a seamless employee experience across a globally distributed workforce.

You’ll own core People Operations activities, from onboarding and offboarding to employee data, lifecycle changes, and day-to-day support.

The role combines operational execution with opportunities to contribute to employee relations, analytics, systems, and strategic People projects.

You’ll collaborate with employees and leaders across regions and time zones while ensuring processes remain consistent, compliant, and locally relevant.

This is an execution-focused environment where attention to detail, sound judgment, and reliable follow-through are highly valued.

You’ll also have the opportunity to explore AI and automation to simplify workflows, reduce administrative work, and improve the employee experience.

Accountabilities

  • Own and process a high volume of employee lifecycle activities, including onboarding, offboarding, transfers, job and compensation changes, and other employee requests, ensuring timely and accurate follow-through.
  • Support employees and managers across multiple countries and time zones, applying global People processes while remaining attentive to local requirements and nuances.
  • Provide day-to-day benefits support, including employee questions, enrollments, life-event changes, and coordination with benefits vendors or specialist teams.
  • Maintain accurate, complete, and audit-ready employee records across HRIS and related systems, proactively identifying data gaps, process issues, and potential compliance risks.
  • Serve as a first point of contact for questions related to People policies, processes, benefits, and systems, resolving requests where appropriate and escalating more complex matters to relevant teams.
  • Handle confidential and sensitive employee matters with discretion, empathy, and sound judgment.
  • Prepare, clean, and analyze People data and reports, including headcount, starters, leavers, tenure, and other workforce metrics, supporting dashboards and clear reporting for People leadership.
  • Contribute to People projects such as HRIS and ATS improvements, workflow redesign, policy rollouts, audit preparation, and other cross-functional initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to use AI, automation, documentation, and process improvements to reduce manual work while maintaining privacy, accuracy, and employee trust.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
