We’re Hiring: People Operations Generalist (Hybrid – Head Office, Watford, 3 days/week) ✨
Imagine being at the centre of a People function that keeps a fast-paced, multi-site business running smoothly — supporting our teams, strengthening processes, and delivering a consistent, high-quality employee experience.
As People Operations Partner, you’ll play a key role in bridging day-to-day People support with continuous improvement. From onboarding and systems to employee relations and process optimisation, you’ll help ensure our People Operations function is efficient, scalable, and built to support growth.
📌 The Role
In this role, you’ll work closely with People Advisors, Senior People Advisors, and People Business Partners to deliver a joined-up, high-quality service across the business.
Your day-to-day will include:
- Acting as the on-site People contact for Head Office, providing in-person support to managers and teams
- Delivering hands-on People support across onboarding, systems, compliance, and employee relations
- Managing mid-level ER cases, ensuring consistency, clear documentation, and alignment with company policies
- Coaching and supporting People Advisors, helping to maintain quality and consistency across activities
- Maintaining accurate People data and systems, supporting reporting and insights
- Supporting onboarding and learning initiatives aligned to operational needs
- Assisting with talent acquisition activity, including screening and coordination
- Identifying and driving improvements to People processes and service delivery
- Acting as a trusted advisor to managers, providing pragmatic and commercially focused guidance

👤 About You
We’re looking for someone who:
- Is CIPD Level 5 qualified (or equivalent experience)
- Has experience managing employee relations cases with confidence
- Has a solid understanding of employment law and HR systems
- Enjoys working in a fast-paced, operational environment
- Can coach and support junior colleagues while building strong stakeholder relationships
- Brings a proactive mindset, strong organisation, and sound judgement
- Is proficient in HR systems and technology across the employee lifecycle
