The Role
As Masabi enters its next growth phase, we’re shaping the foundations for exceptional team performance and sustainable growth.
This role focuses on People Operations—delivering clarity, care, and consistency across the employee experience, from onboarding and everyday support to core programs, systems, and critical processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the end-to-end operations of People Operations, including onboarding, offboarding, contracts, benefits, HR systems, and employee queries.
- Partner with the People team to deliver key programs like performance reviews, engagement surveys, compensation cycles, and probation tracking.
- Design and refine processes, workflows, and self-service experiences for clarity, consistency, and ease of use.
- Maintain accurate, helpful people data—overseeing BambooHR, reporting, and team visibility needs.
- Ensure compliance, documentation, and audit readiness across People Operations systems and records.
- Collaborate with Finance, IT, People Partners, and vendors to streamline payroll, onboarding, EOR processes, and vendor coordination.
- Scale and improve People Operations as Masabi grows, enhancing the employee experience at every lifecycle stage.
This is a builder’s role—ideal for someone passionate about simplifying complex tasks, reducing manual work, and leveraging systems, data, and automation for efficiency.
The ideal candidate balances operational precision with a deep concern for the human element—proactively identifying pain points and creating solutions that are clearer, kinder, and more efficient.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
