People Operations Specialist
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a People Operations Specialist based in United Kingdom.
This remote role offers the opportunity to support the operational backbone of a growing international People function. You will take ownership of employee documentation, HR data, benefits administration, reporting, and people-related systems across a distributed workforce. The role combines hands-on administration with data analysis, process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration. You will help ensure employee information and HR processes remain accurate, consistent, and well organized throughout the employee lifecycle. You will also contribute to making People Operations more efficient and scalable through automation and practical applications of AI. Working with an international and multicultural team, you will have broad exposure to HR operations while developing your skills in a technology-driven environment.
Accountabilities
- Own day-to-day employee documentation processes, including agreements, amendments, terminations, and other employee-related documentation, ensuring information is accurate, complete, properly stored, and processed on time.
- Support employee lifecycle processes from onboarding through offboarding while maintaining consistent documentation across relevant systems and repositories.
- Maintain accurate employee data across HRIS and other People-related systems, regularly reviewing data quality, identifying inconsistencies, and coordinating corrections.
- Support employee data changes related to hires, transfers, promotions, exits, organizational changes, and other lifecycle events.
- Coordinate benefits administration across an international workforce, including employee additions, removals, changes, deadlines, reporting, and communication with employees or external providers.
- Prepare recurring HR reports and people-related data analyses, ensuring information is accurate, consistent, timely, and useful for HR and company stakeholders.
- Support ad hoc reporting requests, identify trends or data quality issues, and help turn People data into clear and actionable insights.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR content, including policies, guidelines, internal documentation, and People-related communications.
- Prepare and publish People updates and announcements through company-wide communication channels, helping employees easily access current information about processes, policies, and benefits.
- Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, automate, and improve People Operations processes, including practical applications of AI and automation.
- Contribute to cross-functional People projects and other operational initiatives that improve efficiency, structure, and scalability.

Requirements
- 1+ year of experience in HR Operations, People Operations, HR Administration, or a similar role.
- Experience working with HRIS or other People-related systems and maintaining accurate employee data.
- Basic understanding of employee lifecycle processes and HR administration.
- Experience with HR reporting and data, with good Excel or Google Sheets skills.
- Strong attention to detail, ownership, and the ability to identify inconsistencies, outdated information, or missing data.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage recurring processes, deadlines, and multiple requests simultaneously.
- Comfortable handling sensitive and confidential employee information with discretion.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in an international and multicultural environment.
- Proactive and process-oriented mindset, with an interest in identifying root causes and preventing recurring issues.
- Ability to work independently while recognizing when collaboration or escalation is needed.
- Curiosity about AI, automation, technology, and new ways of improving everyday work.
- Comfortable working in a distributed, remote environment and maintaining reliable processes across different teams and locations.
