A note from our Head of People and Talent: We're thinking about the role CVs should play in our hiring process, and so what better place to test than the People team. I'm really keen to learn more about you as a person, not just what you can do on paper! If you've got something that shows how you actually work rather than what you've just done, please share it! This could be anything, whether it's a video, a project plan, a link to your website – we're open to innovation 👀

The Role
We're hiring a People Ops and Experience Specialist to join us for twelve months, to own People Experience at Flash Pack end to end.
You'll be keeping the operational foundations of People running - the systems, data and processes we depend on. Alongside this, you'll be leading on key People moments and be building and creating the processes and programmes that shape our People experience.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
This role is primarily remote. You'll need to be based in or around London, though — you'll be responsible for our London office and the in-person events we run there, so expect to be in around once a week to once a fortnight.
This is a twelve-month fixed-term contract, but there is strong potential for this role to become permanent.
In line with our salary framework, the salary for this role is £37,000–£43,500, depending on experience.
Where you'll spend your time
- Owning our People infrastructure and tech stack - contracts, systems, payroll and UK compliance and keeping it running
- Leading on our key People moments such as onboarding, probations, offboarding and making sure managers know what good looks like and that the way we've designed them actually works in practice
- Spotting what's broken or inefficient in our People processes, and fixing it - simplifying them and building ones that actually scale
- Being the person the team trusts to sort out People questions, and fixing the process behind them when the same one keeps coming up
- Owning our People data - keeping it accurate, and turning it into dashboards and insights the business can act on
- Supporting and delivering on the projects that turn our high-performance culture into practical ways of working - the norms, rituals and processes that make it real day to day
- Championing connection and collaboration across our globally distributed, asynchronous-first team - designing the moments, comms and initiatives that bring us together, and owning the London hub as where it comes together in person
- Continuously taking feedback from the team and managers on what we build, and iterating based on what's actually working and what isn't
What we'd love to see from you
- You've got real experience in a People role, with the fundamentals down but you'd rather ask what's actually needed than default to a fixed playbook
- Experience working with remote or distributed teams, and you understand what good looks like with asynchronous ways of working
- You are pragmatic and you can tell when something needs a proper long-term fix versus a quick, sensible one today
- Comfortable owning ambiguity independently - you've worked in a fast-moving, scaling environment before, ideally within a lean People function
- Strong operational judgement and real attention to detail, particularly with data and process accuracy
- You dig into root causes before jumping to solutions - you diagnose the real problem, not just the symptom
- Curious and keen to grow - you care about the impact of your work, not just getting it done
- Interested in AI and how it can improve the way a People function operates
