People Partner 12-Month FTC (Maternity Cover)

Department: People & Talent

Employment Type: Full Time

Location: Zinc - London

Compensation: £60,000 - £65,000 / year

Description

We're growing fast, and our People function needs to keep pace. Sophie, our People Partner, is heading off on leave for 12 months and we need someone who can step in and keep things moving from day one. You'll be the first point of contact for all People queries across the business, owning KPIs, engagement, performance reviews and ER casework. You'll report into our VP of People.

We’re looking for someone who's approachable and calm under pressure, with a coaching mindset. You'll empower managers to solve problems themselves rather than doing it for them. Comfortable working without a rigid playbook, switching context quickly between competing priorities, and confident pushing back constructively on senior stakeholders when needed. High EQ, and genuinely comfortable with ambiguity.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
